IdealCharities is pleased to announce their 2021 Quarter 1 charity, Detroit Dog Rescue! IdealCharities is an IdealTraits employee driven charitable fund, used to support charities and organizations important to our employees. Participating employees vote on a charity to support for each quarter of the year. Detroit Dog Rescue was suggested to the IdealCharities team by Client Success Manager, Eric Waldowski.
Detroit Dog Rescue is Detroit’s first no-Kill shelter in the City of Detroit, and is known for taking in otherwise “unadoptable” dogs and rehabilitating them to help find their forever homes. IdealCharities was able to donate $1,777.96 to Detroit Dog Rescue via their Amazon Wishlist, providing items such as: wet and dry food for puppies and adult dogs, blankets, collars and harnesses, peanut butter, training and other treats, cleaning supplies, kongs and stuffed toys.
Eric presented Detroit Dog Rescue to IdealCharities not only because he has worked with them in the past and knows what great work they do with dogs, but also because his adorable pup Lucy was adopted through them. We’re excited to be able to support Detroit Dog Rescue in their continuing work for the homeless and abandoned dogs of Detroit!
